Question 1. Am I able to track my load information real-time?
Answer: Yes. We provide three different options for retrieving load information. Our secure, customer-specific web portal actually allows you to view the locations of your dedicated trucks along with the option to zoom in and view route detail. Second, there is a lookup by load number via our web portal. Finally, of course you can call our central dispatch office and we will be happy to assist.
Question 2. Can you handle 24 / 7 delivery schedules?
Answer: Yes, we have several dedicated accounts where we perform timely pickup and delivery of product around the clock. Our central dispatch office is staffed with operations professionals to assist your concern day or night.
Question 3. Will I have the same truck and driver assigned to my operation each week?
Answer: Yes, when we say dedicated resources, we mean it. Foundational to our success is having the same knowledgeable driver handling your unique delivery requirements on a daily basis. Our fleet is your fleet - often we customize our swoosh with your colors and offer "free" advertising by installing your logos on the trailer or straight truck box.
Question 4. What if I have a need for just one dedicated unit?
Answer: Our solutions range from one unit to deployment of many units at several different locations - give us a call and let's work together to design a tailored solution for your business.
Question 5. Can you handle operations with hazardous material?
Answer: Yes, Nu-Way Specialized Services is a company established with this purpose in mind. We have implemented even more stringent safety procedures and processes to ensure the safety of your product and our drivers.
Question 6. Do you have space available in your distribution center?
Answer: Yes, we have approximately 25,000 square feet of food grade, temperature-controlled space available. Our facility is fully racked for high density storage. We also have the ability to expand our existing facility or design-build a distribution center for you on our existing property.
Question 7. As a new client, will I have new or used equipment?
Answer: Our goal is to provide you with new, high quality equipment that is right for the job. However, we listen to your requirements and will work with you to build a fleet that's right for you.
Question 8. Our business currently has an existing fleet under lease, can you help?
Answer: Absolutely! We are excited for opportunities where we assume your fleet of trucks. Through the assignments of leases and acquisition of existing of equipment, there are many options to help you transition to a fully outsourced transportation solution.
Question 9. We have our own company drivers, will they lose their job if we outsource to Nu-Way?
Answer: We have worked with several clients to transition their company drivers. We understand the importance of employment continuity for the driver and for your operation. Our practice is to interview and screen your employees to ensure each one meets our safety standards and hiring requirements.
