Our commitment to customer service has been the cornerstone of
our success since 1994 when Nu-Way
was founded by Vernon Schrof. A 40-year veteran of the transportation
industry, Vernon was serving as president and chief executive
officer of a leading carrier when he recognized the growing need
for a NU way of providing transportation solutions.
His vision included creating an asset-based third party logistics provider
that understood dedicated transportation, supply chain management, inventory control and,
most importantly, customer service. As the name clearly indicates, Nu-Way
became that provider.
Today, over 300 employees are working with passion to make this vision a reality each day. Through
Vernon's leadership and enthusiasm, Nu-Way has a
culture that stimulates excellence in customer service, a culture for developing leaders who are
empowered to make the right decision, a culture where we care.
Vernon
has assembled an experienced management team to lead Nu-Way's
business groups. Vice Presidents Kevin Huette, Eric Kiefer, Dave Waibel, and Brian Walder along with
an excellent support staff, drivers, and other trained specialists have ensured the continual growth and
success of the company.
