president's message

  • Nu-Way President Vernon Schrof

the Nu-Way experience and distinction

In today's global economic marketplace, companies across the country need to ensure now more than ever that their commitment to customer service excellence remain steadfast and robust.  That the people, product and service that originally forged and now strengthens each and every customer relationship is consistent, ensuring a phenomenal collaborative experience.  At Nu-Way, it's business as usual as we exhibit our unique brand of commitment to each and every customer ... each and everyday.  Today, over 350 passionate Nu-Way employees stand ready to deliver ... to be the best when it comes to specialized transportation equipment, experience, technology and a resolute commitment to providing economical and well crafted logistics solutions.

For 16+ years we've been successful in operating within the competitive, cost-driven transportation and logistics industry.  Always partnering, caring, customizing and solving the problems of our prospective and current customer-base.  Whether it's assuming a private fleet, staffing a shipping department, playing the role of transportation advisor, solving manpower issues through the provision of a qualified workforce, etc., at Nu-Way, we create solutions and in the process, build longlasting relationships.

For years now we've been saying that our name, Nu-Way, is more than just a corporate identity or brand.  Each and every employee of Nu-Way, from our management team, administrative staff, drivers, technology specialists, etc., believe our mission is distinct, clear and a brilliant example of the "new way" of doing business.  We use words like honesty, integrity and loyalty to describe the overarching Nu-Way experience and we must admit, it is extremely gratifying to hear those words come back to us each and every time we renew a customer contract, meet with a prospective account or consult with an existing customer.

in the end, it all comes down to our mission ...

"The true purpose of our business is to listen and create logistics, supply-chain and transportation solutions, to solve and support the efforts of our customers, to partner and provide industry expertise today and in the future."

... isn't just a statement, it's a way of life.

Having Worked for Nu-way for over 2 years I assure you it is a place to call home. They treat their drivers like family with a commitment to safety and constant improvement. I should have never left, no company since even comes close. If you want a career this is the one, with a commitment to safety and driver training, the constant improvement sets nu-way and you the trained driver apart from other companies. I highly recommend Nu-Way as a service provider who takes care of the needs of their customer, and as a driver being flexable to meet the stressfull needs he or she may have- TRUE CLASS
Vernon,Brendon,Eric and the rest of the staff it was a pleasure to work with and for you
wishing you continued growth and prosperity

One of my first experienceses meeting Vernon Sherof was almost six years ago after I got hired onto the Kehe foods account. I had to go down to Bloomington to pick up my brand new Volvo from the dealership. I went to the office to get my permit book and plates. I asked my manager if they had any screws to put the new plates on my tractor, my manager told me they didn't have anything there to put it on. Mr. Schrof heard this and came out of his office went to his personal vehicle and got the necessary parts and put the plate on himself, he then came back into the office where I was and said "don't ever let anyone tell you that we can't do something". Not a bad first impression I must say. I have been proudly working for nuway since then
